Working female looking for a quality place.

Hi there!

I'm a 47 years old working female, looking for a room to rent only for myself. Prefer north London, zone 2 or 3 but opened to other areas as long as it has a tube station and reliable transport connections as my job requires punctuality.

I work as a nanny for 18 years, I specialize in behavioural issues in children aged <5 years.

The room should ideally be a nice, spacious, furnished double, bonus if it's recently refurbished and/or the bathroom/kitchen too. Partially furnished room can be ok too as long as it comes with a double bed and a double wardrobe plus space for my own furniture.

Only interested in a non-smoking house/flatshare that is not damp, mouldy or substandard in any way, with an energy rating C or above. As I sometimes work long hours I need a place that is peaceful at night. Respectful and clean housemates who don't steal food and etc from each other and don't leave a dirty hob, mess or dishes behind them. Fluent english speakers to be able to have a chat. I don't slam doors or cupboard doors and ideally looking for the same in my new housemates. I am pet friendly, I love dogs and cats. I go away on holiday 3-4 times a year, 7-14 days at a time, I don't expect to pay less rent or less anything for these periods. My job doesn't have the option to work from home.

No problem if no living room if there's an eat-in kitchen. An outdoor space is preferred but not essential. I am a clean, quiet, non-smoking, cosiderate, friendly person and would like a drama-free, peaceful home with a relaxing atmosphere that is no mass accomodation. I do like to have a chat however I'm not looking to live in anyone's back pocket. I do like to have my own space sometimes and I respect that other people do too. Happy to chip in/buy household cleaning products and to take part in a cleaning rota.

I don't mind weekly or monthly rent as long as the payment is via bank transfer.

My budget is somewhat flexible.

A bit about myself:


I am family orientated and enjoy visiting my family in my home country (Hungary). My parents have 10 cats plus 1 bunny and a huge garden and I enjoy looking after them all! As much as I like my job as a nanny, it is very tiring on some days both physically and mentally therefore I need a good quality sleep at nights which is impossible now in my current houseshare because of newly moved in noisy tenants. As I have some allergies I cannot have mould in my room which is the other reason why am looking to move.
I do like a chat, not big on alcohol. I respect other peoples' belongings and privacy. I do a spot of simple cooking maybe once a week or less, bolognese, chicken roast or soup type of things but not every week. I do not have any pets but happy to be living somewhere with pets. I like to read, go for a walk in the park, catch up with the news, swim, go to exhibitions, museums, cinema or watch a movie at home.
