Seeking chilled & friendly house share

Hi!

I’m moving to Manchester in March 2025 and would like to share in a chilled & relaxed (ideally LGBTQ+) house share. I have lived in Brighton for the past 15 years but am originally from near Birmingham.

I am a fairly quiet housemate but am also sociable and respectful of other peoples space, property and beliefs (Treat those as you would want to be treated, I say!) I like a glass of wine on an evening now and again but am in no way a party animal (those days are long behind me!) I am also a heavy sleeper so noise doesn't bother me, so am happy to live with those who work lates / nights / shifts.


In my spare time I like to relax either at home or explore new cafés, restaurants and museums etc. As I’ll be new to Manchester, it would be nice to become friends with someone who has similar interests! I also like learning new things and normally have a new hobby every month or so!
I work for a small retailer / wholesaler running their e-commerce platforms 9-5 Mon-Fri. As they are based down south I will be looking to be able to work from home / local cafes / a library. I’m happy to put extra towards bills if they increase due to this.

I’m happy to live with pets and am a big animal lover. Disclosure - I am slightly allergic to long haired cats but nothing a few antihistamines won’t sort out.

My budget is up to £900 per month.
