Looking for a lovely home — and to be a great housemate in return 😊

Before getting in touch, I’d kindly ask that you take a moment to read my criteria below — thank you very much.

I’m a professional female, aged 44, looking for a double room from 27 February 2026, with a budget of £600 pcm. I’m happy to share with male or female housemates, ideally aged between 28 and 48

I work at the local hospital and have fixed working hours, so I’m reliable, routine-friendly and very considerate of shared living.

I’ve just returned from spending time in India, where I was travelling, exploring and immersing myself in the culture — an experience I found both inspiring and enriching.

Travel is a big passion of mine, and I have a real curiosity for learning new skills and perspectives.

I regularly attend adult evening classes and recently completed a sewing course in December 2025, which I’m hoping to resume in April 2026, alongside a fun “cooking around the world” course.

I also have a gym membership, which I fully intend to return to shortly (we’re currently on a break, not a breakup 😄💪).

I’m friendly, sociable and easy to get along with, while also genuinely respecting personal space. I believe the best homes are calm, comfortable places where everyone feels relaxed and free to be themselves.

Ideally, I’m looking to share with one other person only. Couples or family homes wouldn’t be quite the right fit for me.

As a small preference (though not a deal-breaker), I’d feel most comfortable sharing with someone who doesn’t eat pork, simply from a lifestyle point of view.
