Looking for a professional, fun and friendly house

Hello! I'm Gemma, a 27 year old who's shortly about to move to Birmingham from Lancaster, having lived in Leeds for the start of my professional life and Nottingham before that. I am a non-practising doctor, who?s turned to finance and now diverting into a job that will hopefully use them both - hence the move, which should be around the start of November.

I'd love to live with a small group of fun, friendly and welcoming people, preferably who have similar interests - not knowing anyone in Birmingham means I?m on the look out for new people. Within commuting distance of Birmingham is fine - I'm not used to really busy large cities any more! I've lived in mixed houses of up to 7 people (girls and boys) whilst at university and since moving to Leeds, and it's very much been like another family and I'd like to continue that! I?m also ready for a house that feels like home and not one that epitomises student life - I am past sterilised wipe-clean floors/sofas/everything. I enjoy outdoors adventures more than anything and will gladly adopt anyone to become an adventure buddy and drag them up large hills to go camping. I also enjoy watching and playing (very badly) football, going out and socialising, baking (future housemates, watch your waistlines), the occasional black and white film, a good beer, tennis and I like to pretend I go to the gym but I don't. I'm apparently very easy to live with and generally the only thing that winds me up is people not doing their washing up and housemates that hide in their rooms. Bonus points if you like spiders because I need rescuing from the monster ones.

Parking is pretty important to me, and ideally not a room on the ground floor as I have a need to go upstairs to bed.

I?ve been extremely lucky to make some fantastic friends through house shares in the past and I have high hopes for any in the future. Please do get in touch if you have one suitable and you fancy helping me eat some of the pudding i bake rather too often.
