Looking for friendly house share asap

HI, I’m a teacher relocating to Bath and starting a new role in Radstock at a special needs school with an asap start.

I’m a calm, friendly and happy person in general. I’ve been a teacher for a while now so I’m way past the stressful part of it and don’t bring work home. Things I’ll be looking to do when I move to Bath include: yoga, swimming, theatre, spend time outdoors, Saturday park runs, join the local Goodgym (a running/volunteering charity), and I’d also like to join a choir or other creative, art-related social club.

I’m used to house sharing (cleaning, mucking in with chores and being respectful of others), and enjoy it, but have lived alone in my own flat in Cheltenham for the last couple of years, which I now rent out, so I understand the importance of respecting someone else’s home too! I have just returned from a year working in Thailand and have spent time abroad in the past, but looking forward to settling in a lovely town near the countryside. I like living somewhere I can chat with housemates and enjoy sharing with like-minded people, but also like my own space and appreciate that others do too.

I’ve grown up with dogs and would like my own sometime soon so more than happy to take part in the day-to-day care of pets and enjoy their company if you have them.

I will be working a 5-day week and expect I’ll be out from around 8-4:30/5ish Monday-Friday if it’s important or you work from home. I have a car so looking for somewhere with parking and happy to give lifts when free/use it for housemate duties or outings!

Ideally looking to rent on a short-term basis while I settle in Bath and look to find somewhere more permanent, but open to longer if it works.
