Description
Hi I'm Matthew. 🤠
I'm looking at a change and debating all my options. Have lived by the sea in Brighton for nearly 10 years. Currently living alone and enjoyed that however but debating a change in either location because a change is as good as a rest, living solo or with someone because nice to have social aspect or both.
Areas of interest are or nearby: Edinburgh, Glasgow and possibly Dundee.
A bit about me, I'm 31 and working in IT (civil service-esque so full-time permanent work). Have enjoyed a mix of co-living and solo living with persons from all different demographics and lifestyles. Have got involved in a number of activities whilst living here, joined a rugby team, was part of a choir, did panto (that was a lol), obviously some watersports: paddle boarding canoeing, swimming. Living that Brighton life ey 🌊.
I don't come with any animals. That said, I grew up from a family that rescues dogs so if you do then great and if not opportunities to have one would be great as I've been looking for the right place to have one. Sadly I'm a little allergic to cats.
The household dynamic I'm looking for:
• Either a decent place to enjoy solo
• Or with no more than two others max (3 persons including me).
This is so we are able to have a cohesive relationship with accountability and little chaos.
• Budget £750 give or take depending on what's on offer.
• Someone either part of the LGBTQ+ community or someone who doesn't have an issue with this.
• I wouldn't want it to be a ships in the night scenario but equally respect others privacy, boundaries and need for some downtime and I would expect the same in return.
• I'm pretty tidy and would want somewhere where we all do our fair share to keep it a nice place to live. I'm not a Sargent Major though so it's all about the balance.
• I currently work from home with some travel so would need this to be OK with you. I've an interview in Edinburgh in the next few weeks and believe the working arrangement there is 60/40 working from office and home.
• I'm looking for a place I can stay long-term.
If that all sounds like it could work, let's start a conversation. 🏄♂️
