Female looking for room

Hi,

Looking for a place where people put attention and care in their living space and are creative about it, maintaining a beautiful environment you can enjoy spending time in.

I think a shared house needs a good balance between being able to spend your days alone in your thoughts and barging into your housemates room at any odd hour to sit on their floor and chat about anything and everything (consensually of course). I am happy with either vibe as long as there is open straightforward communication about any life admin.

I am looking for a place where I can put an effort into creating the environment that is pleasant to gaze upon- where the geometrical shapes and colours bring me joy as I am drinking my cup of good quality coffee with some hard cheese and a nice book .. or a questionable youtube drama video - because I am here for it. I am clean and tidy, but it’s okay for a place to be lived in day to day (in other words I am not a clean freak) as long as it is cared for in a way that dirt does not accumulate. I understand it’s natural to do a little less some days and do a little extra on the days we are up for it etc. Consistency over perfection and all that.

I keep too many Asian sauces in my fridge, really like folding laundry and I think it is very heart-breaking how many places no longer have baths these days (if we don’t- I will complain about it every time I see someone taking a bath on TV…)

Looking for initial 3 months contract but planning to rent long term- always good to keep an option in a hopefully unlikely case where it just does not work for someone. People who are willing to commit to living with a stranger for 12 months after meeting them once/twice - please explain yourselves, that's brave.

Live in Landlords only (I find it just ensures the place is cared for and they care about other tenants they select).
