Looking for a home by the sea

I’m Sophie a slow fashion designer; I run my own brand, SOFO studio, where I design & make everything from sustainable natural materials.

After several years in the city of Bristol, I’m ready for some calm by the sea, in Falmouth.

I’m kind natured, thoughtful and open hearted. I’m looking for a cosy home with someone likeminded. Would like to live with people who’ll become friends, rather than just housemates; I love a home that’s a mutually nurturing space.

I enjoy slow mornings, costal runs, post sauna sea dips, deep chats, silliness, cooking delicious bean dishes and pottering about; I love growing tomatoes in the summer, so a garden/outdoor space would be a big plus. I also work part-time for a sustainability charity (remotely).

I have two adorable, well-behaved cats, Martha & Rufus, who are around 8 years old, they’re always up for cuddles and have happily lived in rented homes for years, without issue. Rufus is more like a dog than a cat; he even sits on command, Martha is a proper petite lap cat - they are a joy to live with. They’re content being either indoor or indoor/outdoor cats - I’m happy to provide references for both them and myself. (I always get renters insurance that covers pets, should this be a worry).

Flexible with move date, ideally early 2026, but happy to wait til the spring for the right place with the right people.
