Searching for short-term sublet

I'm a friendly, clean and tidy guy looking for a comfortable double room. I'm looking for a short-term sublet (preferably starting in mid August, but am flexible) while I look for a more permanent place to live with my partner, Josh, who will move down to London with me in late October.

I've lived in Cambridge for the past 10 years, doing my research on stem cell biology and leukaemia. I'm moving to London to take up a research position at Imperial College. I am active outside of work; swimming and teaching ballet twice a week. I also spend a lot of time with friends and family. So I'm out of the house a lot of the time. That being said, I like to know my housemates well and I'd be up for cooking and eating together and hanging out.

My background is British/American but I feel most at home with international people.
