Seeking clean, quiet, and smoke-free accommodation

I am seeking a room to rent in Portsmouth from early February 2026. I am considerate, reserved, and always treat a property as if it were my own. I do not smoke or consume alcohol.

I have been living in my current accommodation for nearly a year, which has been a positive experience overall. However, I am now looking for a new place that offers good natural light during the day and is bike-friendly. Additionally, I would prefer a room with an en-suite bathroom, as I value having access to a clean and hygienic bathroom.

Ideally, I am looking for a quiet household where residents keep to themselves. A smoke-free property is also very important to me.

I would like to start the process now to secure a new place before giving my notice, while also minimising any overlap in rent between the properties; although for a really nice place, I can be a bit more flexible about this.
