Professional seeking short-term let

I'm a 36 year old professional looking for a short-term let for up to two months (December and January) to cover a gap between periods of travel — Canada for a couple of weeks over Christmas and then accompanying my dad to Vietnam and New Zealand in February :) I'll be looking for a more permanent room after I get back, but if I find the right fit now I'm happy to commit through 2026 — ideally in Bishopston or Totterdown.

Originally from Canada, I lived in Bristol from 2016-2018 and moved back to the South West last year. I run my own business as a freelance copywriter and have a background working in publishing and libraries. I'm a creative, book-loving person who enjoys meeting new people, travelling, and trying anything new (especially delicious food).

As a freelancer I sometimes work from home, but also make a point to work outside the house more often than not, usually at a library, cafe, or friend's place. I'm easygoing, friendly, respectful, and am always up for interesting conversation.
