Friendly, Creative Professional in 40s

Hi, I’m Rob, a professional tutor in my 40s looking for a friendly and comfortable flat share in London. Ideally, I’d like to move in mid/ end of November, with a budget of up to £1200-ish per month all in. I've just finished my English PhD and now it's time to move to London to make (or lose) my fortune!

I'm aiming to be in London for a year to start with, then I'll see how it goes from there.

A bit about me: I work from home as an online tutor, so I’ll be working quietly from my room during the afternoon/ evening. I’ll only be working online for 4-5 hours a day - the rest of the time I’ll be out and about.

I’m tidy, considerate and easy-going, with a love of literature, music, theatre and sports - I’m a Tottenham Hotspur season ticket holder, so I'll be there every other week. I'll be going to a play and/ or a concert each week too. I'm also a poet and have been running my own open mic for over ten years - I might even start it up somewhere in London!

I’m vegan, but perfectly happy sharing with meat-eaters, and I’m a non-smoker, but don't mind sharing with smokers!
I enjoy a relaxed, respectful home environment - friendly and social, but also mindful of everyone’s space and routines. I enjoy a night in the pub as much as an evening at home or the cinema. I've had housemates for most of my adult life, and still keep in touch with many of them, so hopefully that shows that I'm not a nightmare to live with!
