Hello! I'm looking for a new home in Bristol after finishing my PhD at the University of Bristol. I’m taking some time out from full-time work and hoping to find a calm, friendly, and respectful living space.
Most important things to consider!
* Bike Storage: I will need a secure place for my bike.
* Smoking: I wish to share with non-smokers (no smoking indoors or out).
* Diet: I eat meat and dairy. I don't eat gluten (but I am not coeliac!)
* Music: I play acoustic guitar - usually fingerstyle (so not super loud). I also have a keyboard - this I can play with headphones. Happy to discuss your needs around this / how to be as least least disruptive as possible!
Other things:
* Drinking: alcohol isn’t a big part of my lifestyle, occasional drink is fine but not looking to share with daily drinkers
* Kitchen Sharing: Prefer to share basic kitchen utensils: cutlery, plates etc. I tend to live quite minimally, so don’t plan to invade your kitchen with lots of new stuff!
* Guests: I might occasionally have a guest over but don’t want to be the host of large gatherings every weekend!

* Hobbies & Interests: Dance (Fusion, Contact Improv, 5Rhythms), wild swimming, nature, and training as a breathwork facilitator.
* Fun Fact: In a previous houseshare I earned the nickname The Lemon Bandit due to my enthusiasm for lemons.
* I'm quite good at sorting Bristol's complex recycling ;)
Communication & House Dynamics
I prefer to chat things through in person, take personal responsibility for my own actions, and create clear agreements when needed. How do you and your housemates typically handle small tensions or misunderstandings?

* Viewings: an initial phone call before arranging an in-person viewing, I've known can really clarify any potential dealbreakers, and save a wasted trip across town! So I'd love for that to be an option
* Live-out Landlords/Managers: I’d need to speak with current tenants before making a decision.
