Mancunian in London

Friendly Mancunian looking for a new place in London, having lived here for about seven years.

I'm preferably looking for a double room, and I'm open to a number of different locations. I've lived in Pimlico for the a while now, which is an amazing location, but there isn't much space in the flat, so I'm ideally looking for a relaxed but sociable place with a living room. I'm open-minded in terms of location - I have lived in the East End before, which I loved, and I also like South/South West London (Vauxhall down to Brixton, say). My current room is on a rolling contract, so I'm quite flexible as to when I can move.

I always embrace the opportunity to meet new people. Although I enjoy meeting up with friends, it would be good to move somewhere with a common area and people I can enjoy spending a bit of time with, especially as I'm currently working from home three days a week. I'm strongly of the opinion that communication is the key to a good flat/houseshare, and I'm very open-minded as to who I'm sharing with as long as they're of a similar disposition.

I love going out and exploring the city, both day and night, although I'm also inclined to lounge round with a herbal tea, listening to some music or reading a book. Equally happy relaxing around other people and on my own. Love going out for a dance as much as I love a classical concert!
