Leith friendly houseshare sought - flexible dates

Hi!

I’m Vee and am looking for a friendly houseshare with professionals in their 30s/40s in Leith.

I really value building friendships in flatmate dynamics – I’m still friends with many of my past flatmates and would love to find a friendly face in the kitchen to catch up on our respective days. Someone to watch a few TV shows together would also be nice (in my dream world, it’d be someone to watch Strictly with).

I tend to get on best with those who have an international perspective – I’ve lived in Singapore, Turkey, and New Zealand, where I lived for eight years.

I’m house trained, and enjoy being sociable in communal spaces but also like to escape to my own room for my own reset time, so I’m neither a bedroom dweller nor someone who just sits on the couch all day. I also enjoy getting out and about after work, trying out social and sports events.

I love getting outdoors (I just spent Easter at the North York Moors National Park), enjoying cultural events (I highly rate the Bog Snorkelling competition in Wales!) and discussing life, the universe and everything. Oh, and I still play Wordle in 2026 so I’m always up for a Scrabble game!

On a practical note, I’m a non-smoker, tend to eat a vegetarian diet and like a glass of wine with dinner, but don’t drink much beyond that. Overall, I’m hoping to find a calm, friendly place that is home rather than just somewhere to sleep.
