Young professional seeking flatshare in zone 2/3

Hi, my name is Connor and I'm 30 years old. After 6 months away travelling (3 months in South America + 3 months training as a snowboarding instructor in Canada) and the last few months back in London staying in a mate’s place while he is away, I’m now unfortunately needing to find a longer-term place to stay.

I’m ideally looking for somewhere that will take me through to the end of 2025, but I’m open to shorter-term stays too if the place is right. Anywhere in zone 2/3 works for me, as long as the transport connections aren't too bad. My budget is up to £1,100/month, but ideally I would like to spend around £800-£1,000/month.

I currently work for a transport consultancy (modelling of demand and finances for planes / trains etc.) and am normally in the office 3 days a week (sometimes more, sometimes less).

In terms of the room itself, I need it to have a desk for those days when I work from home, but apart from that I don’t have too many requirements. Ideally the kitchen / living room etc. would be shared so that we can socialise in the evenings / on the weekends. I'm fairly outgoing, though do sometimes enjoy time to myself. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, running, playing tennis, heading to the pub with friends, going out, and occasionally I might even get my skateboard out for a ride if the weather is nice!

I grew up in the town of Deal in Kent, and was living in London for 5 years before my sabbatical (which I would highly recommend to everyone btw!) I've previously lived in Kilburn, Kentish Town, and Herne Hill, and I’m currently based in Tooting, but I’m not wedded to any particular area for this search.
