37 year old professional

I'm a 37 year old professional working in the UX research sector, looking for a quiet place to live with an easy commute to central London. I'm not one for bringing guests back and I am respectful of other people's privacy. Generally, I'm more of a chilled, relax and watch a film kind of person. Ideally need somewhere for 1 year whilst I look to buy my own property.

Preferably I would like to live either with similar professionals or even with a family as I am not keen on living with too many people.

There will be times when I travel for work 2-3 times a year and tend to go to the office 2-3 days a week. I am also more than comfortable with places that have pets (I love cats). I do occasionally go out with friends and play bass in a band who practice down in Peckham every two weeks but don't come back much later than 11 on these occasions. I do sometimes play acoustic guitar at home, but am respectful of suitable hours for doing so.
