Flatshare or Buddy Up

Hello, all!

I moved to Edinburgh last autumn and have been living in Bruntsfield/Morningside since. I love the area, but I think I'm looking to move to the other side of town (I'd love to be toward Easter Road / Leith Walk side).

Ideally, I'm looking for a double room with plenty of natural light, room for a desk (I work from home), access to a garden or near outdoor space, a nice kitchen for cooking, access to parking, and friendly flatmates. Ideally, there would also be communal space (i. e. a lounge or similar).

I'm an actor and a playwright currently working as a tutor (thanks, Covid). I moved up from London for a writing mentorship programme last October, but I like Edinburgh enough to stay now the programme is finishing up. I'm looking for a new flat which will be more suited to longterm living. Ideally with one other person (though not opposed to two others).

I love to cook, to swim, and to cycle. I can often be found down Portobello in the firth or in a pool now gyms are open again, and I tend to do a big cycle (100km +) at least once a week. I love a weekend trip to go hiking somewhere in the country or just to explore new places.
