Professional and PhD student

Hi friend! I'm finishing up my PhD and I'm looking to join/create a happy home environment for at least the next few months, but ideally the foreseeable future. I'm flexible on dates and timing for the right place and people, but I'm looking for a place from the middle/end of May.

Although I'll work from my office, I also work from home too.

I'm clean, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces, and I make a decent cup of tea. I cook and happy to cook family-style sometimes!

I've lived with loads of people and I've lived on my own, and everything in-between, and I've sussed out that I enjoy my own company and being able to come back to a clean and tidy space, but I love living in community with people, having a night of board games or good friends round for dinner. Cosying up with housemates and watching a movie, etc.

Having a decent relationship and good communication with the property owner and/or letting agent is important to me too, so that when things need addressed, they are resolved fairly quickly and with consideration on both sides. Like most people who have rented in a city, I have horror stories to share!

As I'm from Scotland and have friends from here, there, and everywhere, I'm keen to live somewhere where my mum or friends could come and stay from time to time and where you and I would live together easily, happily, and (hopefully) in friendship.

I love exploring and making the most of my days off, or just chilling out at home. I get itchy feet and love to travel (solo or with friends), but I'm really keen to explore the island of Ireland more too. There is so much I haven't seen and visited!
