Mature Professional Seeking a Relaxed room

I’m a mature Black British professional of Caribbean heritage, working within health, fitness and wellbeing.

I’m looking for a comfortable, relaxed and welcoming home for approximately 6–8 weeks initially, although I’m very flexible and would happily consider longer if the environment and people feel right.

I had originally planned to begin travelling in early September, but following a recent hospital procedure I’ve sensibly postponed those plans to allow myself proper recovery time. I’m mobile, independent and getting back to normal; I simply want somewhere peaceful where I can rest, work and enjoy my surroundings without unnecessary stress.

I’m clean, respectful and sociable, but equally value privacy and other people’s space. I enjoy good conversation, health and fitness, culture and meeting people from different backgrounds.

My medium-term plan is to travel, so I don’t want to make promises about a long tenancy that I may not keep. However, I’m genuinely flexible — if I settle somewhere and it works well for everyone, I’m very open to extending my stay.

For me, comfort, good energy and a relaxed household are more important than simply finding the cheapest room.
