House/ pet sitter looking for self-contained space

Hello!

I am a quiet, respectful and tidy 30-something female looking for accommodation in Scotland. I don't mind where, but would prefer a fairly rural area within an hour or so of Glasgow (could be a bit further). I would ideally like an annexe, mobile home or other self-contained accommodation where I have access to my own living area, kitchen etc.

My situation is quite specific and I'm hoping it might work well for someone! I am a writer and also do house and pet sitting for people on their travels. This means I am away much of the time, so looking for accommodation that is inexpensive and flexible, that I can use as a base and return to between house sits. I am open to the possibility of a long-term pet and house sitting arrangement, where accommodation can be exchanged for looking after animals and property. Might also work well for someone else who travels frequently or needs help with animals, and I could potentially work round your plans so you have your own space.
