Self-contained annex or similar.

Quiet but Cheerful!

I am looking for accommodation in Devon. My criteria are that the accommodations should be a self-contained annex/cabin or similar. Small is fine. Not a room in a house where the bathroom and kitchen is shared. Happy to share laundry facilities etc.

I work as a petsitter so I am away a lot, and also work from home as a freelance content writer, and pursue creative writing and research in my spare time. Where relevant, I am amenable to offering some petcare in exchange for part of the rent.

I am a childfree, young-ish 46 year old woman.

Long retired from drinking and nightlife. Vegan, but unjudgmental about other people's food!

I lead a fairly quiet life, enjoying walks in nature, writing, reading, and weekend lunchtime meetups with friends. I do enjoy a good chat and giggle, but also need to retreat and be by myself to recharge. Respectful of other people's need for space too.

The noisiest I get is making a smoothie in my high-speed blender, or playing a podcast or a spot of music through my bluetooth speaker instead of my earbuds when nobody's home!

I was born in Ilfracombe, and after living in various places across the UK, I lived in Exeter for 20+ years (for University as a slightly mature student, then work) and so am very familiar with Devon. I have recently returned to Exeter after a few years in Portugal.
