Description
## About me
European with full settled status (indefinite leave to remain, right to work/rent in the UK).
Independent, very clean and tidy, I don't smoke.
I tend to be reserved and quiet, but that doesn't mean I don't like socialising of course.
I work as a software engineer for a major IT company.
This has been my career since I was 19.
Interested in sciences, cosmology, technology, IT, ... For a few years now my books have only been from Stephen Hawking, Thomas Pesquet, about black holes etc so that tells you something.
What I like to do in London, going out, pubs, gigs, festivals, meeting new people, board games, ... I never say no to trying new beers.
Oh and I love cats!
## My ideal place/room
- A double bedroom
- Housemates with consideration
I value living in a relaxed environment and hope to find housemates who feel the same — those who don’t slam doors, leave lights on everywhere, or make heavy footfalls.
- A clean and tidy place, without a cleaning rota
My motto is simple: if I use it, I clean it. Simple, easy, everyone is happy.
I’m pretty tidy and organised, and I actually find cleaning kind of soothing sometimes.
I know that living with others means we all have to compromise a bit. However, I do draw the line at leaving dirty dishes in the sink for days or ignoring spills—those habits just aren’t respectful to our shared space.
I don’t need or want a cleaning rota. We’re all adults here, so we shouldn’t need that; just a mutual understanding that we all pitch in to keep our place nice.
- Ideally not too far from Dalston, or with an easy access
My work office is located in this area.
This is "ideally", and of course I can be flexible.
- A good and stable broadband connexion.
- Basic amenities included (washing machine, fridge, freezer)
- Bedroom furnished would be a big plus
- A desk in the bedroom would be a big plus
- A non smoking place
- (optional) An en-suite bedroom would be a plus
- (optional) A space outside (patio, garden ...) would be a plus
## Misc
