Description
Hello!
I’m looking for a room from around the end of August / first half of September, initially for at least three months, and potentially longer if it works well.
I’m returning to London after 15 months of travelling, taking a sabbatical and spending time in a few different communities. I’ll be going back into a corporate job and also beginning part-time training as a psychotherapist at weekends.
I have my own flat in Bayswater, but it is currently rented out. Part of what appeals to me about this period is also getting to experience living in a different part of London before deciding where I might eventually want to settle longer term.
I’m tidy, kind and easy to live with. I’ve lived in house shares before and, more recently, have had lodgers in my own flat, so I have a pretty good sense of both sides of shared living.
I enjoy conversation and getting to know the people I live with, while also really valuing space and privacy. I particularly like homes where people are friendly and look out for each other, rather than everyone simply disappearing behind their bedroom door.
Outside work, I enjoy dance, yoga, walking, good conversation and generally doing things that get me away from a screen.
I don’t drink or smoke and I’m not a loud-music-at-midnight person. I’m very happy with a small or simple room. The atmosphere of the home and the people I’m living with matter much more to me than having somewhere fancy.
I’d also be very happy to contribute to the home, whether that’s watering plants, looking after a cat while you’re away, or generally helping to make it a pleasant place to live.
My budget is roughly £1000-£1600 per month.
If you think I might be a good fit for your home, I’d love to hear from you.
