We have a double room available in a lovely three bedroom flatshare 10 mins walk from the University of Aberdeen. It is available until Summer 2026 and would be ideal for a friendly postgraduate or final year student looking for a nice home in Aberdeen for this academic year.

You’d be sharing with two masters students (who met sharing the flat!) — one female archaeologist from Edinburgh and male from Newcastle studying planetary science. Both are responsible, friendly, nice, chill, no dramas! Each person has an individual lease.

Some points to note on the flat:

* Well maintained, recently decorated and tastefully furnished throughout. (The room available was just painted and had a new carpet laid last week).

* Separate living room and kitchen, small balcony off kitchen, shared garden to rear.

* Efficient central heating and double glazing (which means "warm and (relatively!) cheap to heat" - very important in Aberdeen!!!). Also a "power shower".

* <10 mins walk from the University of Aberdeen, <20 mins from ARI/Forresterhill Campus. On bus routes 17, 18 and Stagecoach (inc 727 express/airport), about 10 mins to Union Street.

* Local grocery shops and takeaways seconds walk away. Sainsbury's at Berryden 10 mins walk.

* Landlady lived here herself as a student, it is a nice spot and lovely neighbours.

* Rent is £390 per calendar month plus £10 towards broadband (EE fibre, up and running); around £20 per person per month for each of gas and electric (on pay-as-you-go meters, so easy, no monthly bills) so <£450 per month including all bills.

* Deposit of £390 is payable when lease signed, it is then lodged with SafeDeposits Scotland. First months rent of £390 is payable when move in.
