Double bedroom for rent

There is a spacious double bedroom available from a private landlord (not myself) to move in from the middle/late August 2026 for a person who likes cats as I have two cats, Cleo and Snowball.

I am looking for a new flatmate as my current flatmate will be moving out by the beginning of August. Ideally I am looking for a female, professional flatmate. I will be away to abroad from the 24th of July - 10th of August, so between this time frame I will have limited access to respond to messages, so would like to have someone lined up early before I leave on the 24th of July.

My name is Maria and I'm a 32 years old graduate from RGU. I studied International Tourism Management and I did my masters in Applied Psychology. I currently work in administration at RGU.

I like playing guitar and piano in my free time. I have my own guitar and piano as visible on the photos.

I am a quiet person and prefer to keep the flat nice and tidy and not the major fun of big parties but can be discussed as I am flexible and open for communication.

You are more than welcome to have your friends/partner over. Sometimes my friends come over.

I like to watch Netflix and Amazon Prime and play boardgames. I love Harry Potter and I like to read and do crafts in my free time. I have two beautiful cats, Cleo and Snowball so a cat lover person is preferred with no additional pets.

Facilities such as: Washing Machine, Iron, Ironing Board, Microwave, Oven and Hob, Kettle, Fridge are included in the flat.

I have my own Air Fryer as well.

There is currently a super fibre Talk Talk broadband installed.

The flat is on Howburn Place close to Sainsburys, Tesco, Iceland, and a pharmacy in the corner. It is around 20 minutes walk to city centre and the street is quiet.

Bus stops to buses are nearby and easily accessible.

Rent is £275 per month, internet (Talk Talk) is £50 per month between two people, bills around £100 person/month during winter, lower during summer which is around £50 person/month.

Council tax is band B, so £187 per month for two people which is shared equally.

There is no smoking inside the flat.

There's a shed for bicycle, and a shared garden to dry clothes.
