A friendly and ‘with it’ elderly gentleman is seeking a Sharer for his home to offer a mix of 15 hours’ help and company each week in exchange for the low-cost accommodation.

He would value the friendly company of having someone else living in his home. He is very independent but some ad hoc general practical help around the home such as picking up shopping, cooking a few meals, light cleaning and tidying and ad hoc errands would be appreciated.

The accommodation on offer is a double bedroom with its own bathroom and shared use of the kitchen and living space in a beautiful home with lovely garden.

The property is on an arable farm approx. 10 minutes’ drive from Aboyne and 30 minutes’ drive from Aberdeen. This would suit a car owner/driver.

The gentleman is still actively involved in running the farm. He also enjoys gardening, plants/trees/nature, dogs and has an interest in politics and current affairs. He used to play bridge. He has always had a dog, so a dog-lover essential.

As a Sharer you are free to work or study as long as you have enough spare time to give the agreed level of company and support. The ideal Sharer will be a positive, friendly, kind, helpful and reliable non-smoker who ideally shares some of the gentleman’s interests.
