The flat is on a quiet residential street of Victorian terraced houses just off Herne Hill and Coldharbour Lane, very close to Loughborough Junction, Brixton and Denmark Hill stations. Great access to Ruskin Park, Brixton Village and Kings College Hospital.
Room available has rooftop views North towards central London. Double sleigh bed, desk, chest of drawers, wardrobe and shelving. En suite bathroom. The room is available now.
The flat has been redecorated in the past 3 years including fresh carpets and paint throughout. It has a huge, homely living room with working fireplace, big sofa and lots of shelving; a bright and spacious kitchen/dining area; and a lovely 90foot long garden (+ greenhouse, shed, huge patio perfect for BBQs and a 200 year old mulberry tree).

Flatmate Alexandra is a trainee teacher and is frankly hilarious, Oli works in construction and decoration and loves music, Nats is a lovely classicist who is into sailing and works in law. Deniz and Tempe (landlady) live in Reading and continue to use a room (shared with Nats) as occasional bedroom/office, still contributing to bills. I (Tempe) work at a national Museum in public programmes, and Deniz is an art photographer.
We are independent, friendly, respectful of others' space and we generally attempt to achieve a 'hygge' home environment (rather than student accommodation vibe)! We're looking for genuinely easygoing, sociable, tidy, self-aware professional or postgrad housemates aged 28+ and keen to join our friendly house.
