Spacious double room in cosy flat.

I am currently looking for a flatmate to share my two-bedroom flat with. This is a fairly new experience for me, having not previously rented the room out but I have had flatmates elsewhere. I will be the only other resident.

I purchased the flat just over a year ago and have slowly been making it my own (new kitchen, new carpets, painting etc). I’m looking for a bit of company and the extra income will also allow me to continue to invest more into the flat and make it even more homely!

The room is a large double sized room and comes with a double bed, ample storage and a desk (please note bedding/linen etc will not be provided). There’s access to a shared kitchen with a brand new washing machine, oven and even a dishwasher! There’s a shared bathroom with an electric shower over the bath which is also fairly new. The living room has plenty of sofa space for you to get comfy, it also has a small dining table (which extends to four for dinner parties!) and an electric baby grand for those who can play (or those who wish to learn).

The flat has secure entry and all of the flats within the building are privately owned. It is within walking distance to the city centre, there’s on street parking if required, and it is also connected well to the rest of the city via bus service.

I work in healthcare and so work a mixture of shifts (days/nights) so I’m looking for someone who understands this and will be respectful (especially when I’m snoozing!). I’m also studying for my MSc degree so like to maintain a fairly calm environment when working towards a deadline.

I’m looking for someone who will be courteous, clean and respectful but also someone I can get on with so it’s not awkward when we are watching the TV! Hopefully this will also feel like your home.

The £400 includes all bills.

Please be aware that the flat is still a work in progress so there may be times when work is being carried out such as painting etc. Of course any disruption would be an absolute minimum and notified in advance.
