Description
Hello! My current flatmate is about to move in with his girlfriend (I'm devastated) so I'm looking for someone to take over his room in the beginning of October. It's the master bedroom (two closets!), carpeted, with sunshine pouring through the bedroom in the evenings (and in the living room in the morning). We have a shared living room, a gas stove, and real good shower pressure.
As to the flat itself, it's a relatively new building, across the street from a Chippie and located behind a gate overlooking straight into Baxter Park. It's ~12 minute walk to the Dundee Bus station (I commute every morning), and ~15/20 downtown. There is a designated parking space for our flat and a tiny balcony (that fits one chair and a table that hangs over the railing).
Since my flatmate and I did a ton of things together (running, climbing, hill-walking, ordering takeaway and watching trash), I would ideally like someone who is sociable and would like to do things together too! On the flip side, I do plenty on my own (cycling, playing in a few bands, staying late in St Andrews at the pub) so respecting another's space is also important. I'm also relatively clean, so please, please please, if you are not going to be OK with sharing the cleaning responsibilities/can't wash your dishes, don't bother inquiring :P I can also be quite confrontational and expect my flatmate to communicate with me if anything is up. I'm working on my PhD in Biology and will be done in 2 years.
Now that you've reached the end, to make sure you've read the entire message, your first message should be lyrics to any song by Talking Heads - I won't read it otherwise.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask :)
