A double room, to rent, within a 3 bedroom home.

This bedroom has a brand new double bed + mattress, is freshly decorated and is part of a modern family home.

The home comprises of front garden/driveway, secure back garden, kitchen/dining area, living room and shared bathroom with walk in shower.

This room would suit a clean and tidy student, who is happy to shop, prepare and cook their own food. You will be living alongside the 43 yr old female owner. Her 18 yr old son is also a student, but in Glasgow, but will be in the home over Christmas and summer periods. This will not be your typical Uni party home, but you are more than welcome to have friends visit and of course use the communal space to socialise. But no wild parties.

Happy to accept 8/9 month tenancy’s e. g. mid Sept – mid May/June but this can be discussed and agreed before commencement. Rent is charged at £500pcm, with a £500pcm deposit. Rent includes all bills, and only excludes food.

You must also like dogs, as the owner is a dog boarder so there are frequent doggy visitors to the home. These are the responsibility of the owner, not the renter. You are more than welcome to bring your fully house trained dog to come and stay with you though, but the rent will increase by £150 per month to accommodate for the loss of earnings from the dog boarder (not all dogs can live with others). The owner would be happy to assist you in caring for your own dog whilst you’re out.

If you have your own vehicle, you will have use of the driveway. Alternatively, the main bus route in- to town and beyond is just a 2 minute walk away. The home is in a quiet, cul-de-sac so no passing traffic on the street directly. Asda, Dominos, McGurty’s, Odeon, Mecca and Hollywood Bowl are just a 5 minute walk away.
