- Flat share £395 pcm
- Dundee
- DD1
Description
A scenic, fully furnished 2 bedroom flat in the city centre of Dundee. Bedroom has a wardrobe, drawer, bed, and desk. Please Note: The black desk and cupboard you see are not the cupboards that will be in the room.
-----------Finances:
- Rent is £395/month, increases by around 10 every year
- Utilities is £60/month each
- Wifi is complicated, but I'd budget £15/month each
- Council Tax is around £1850/year, so around £155/month, £75/month each. Tax Band is B
Total estimated cost is around £545 per month. It can be a bit cheaper if you're a student because the council tax gets 1/4th off.
------------The Room:
The room itself is carpeted, adjacent to the living room and landing pad. It's fairly small, but can fit the bed, a drawer, and desk setup with chair comfortably. It's facing the sunny side so the view is nice.
------------Location and Property:
It's the centre of Dundee, so has all the amenities easy to access.
Walking distances:
- 3 minutes from tescos express
- 3 minutes from train station
- 10 minutes from Abertay Uni
- 20 minutes from Dundee Uni.
- There's a parking lot nearby.
The property itself is very safe, with a buzzer camera front door, has an elevator, and most people in the building block keep to themselves, neighbours haven't been an issue.
--------------Other Rooms:
The living room is massive, carpeted, and has a nice view with the sun shining in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings.
Landing pad is spacious and tiled. Lots of room in the storage cupboard.
Bathroom has a bathtub/shower, has a toilet, sink, and towel rack. The shower temperature and pressure are good quality.
The kitchen is a decent size, with lots of cupboards, a good induction hob, a good oven, fridge, freezer, and washing machine.
------------- Personal:
Male 23, I've lived here for about 4 years now, so there's a lot of stuff already here which I'm happy to share. In the kitchen alone there's standard utensils, cookware, air fryer, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, blender.
Working most days either at home or in office, so on the weekends I'll usually be in the lounge chilling, kitchen cooking, or my room gaming.
I like cooking quite a bit, if we like similar meals then that makes shopping cheaper and a breeze :). Sometimes you'll find me making new recipes on my off-days, like kimchi, or banana bread.
Would like to be friends with whoever wants to move in, it's a cosy flat, so a strained relationship between flatmates is the last thing I really want.
Minimum expectations is to be mature and financially responsible. Which just means pay your part and help keep the flat clean.
I'm fairly easy going with what you get up to, if you want to host parties, or have people over I don't mind. Just be respectful, and if something breaks then be responsible.
