Description
Been living here for almost two years now - it's a lovely place, but my current flatmate Cameron who I've lived here for a year with is moving on in the near future to bigger and better things in Brighton.
I'm looking for someone relaxed and laidback, but otherwise no real requirements. No couples, I'm afraid.
The £550.00 price tag includes absolutely everything; Rent, Electric, Gas, Water, Council Tax, Broadband - being a village, Larkhall has very few Fibre Optic ports so to get around this it's a 4G router, averaging 20mbps rather than the usual 2.
A lovely little flat - which was, many many years ago, a herbologists shop - tucked in the charming village of Larkhall, which I fell in love with the first time I visited - plenty of pubs, a stellar community, and brilliant transport links. Parking in near the entirety of Larkhall is on-street, so no private parking space I'm afraid.
The flat itself also comes with extra conveniences on top of the standard ones, such as a condenser-dryer, a dishwasher, Prime Video/Netflix - and free gym access every Friday.
The City Centre of Bath, where I typically work, is a 10 minute cycle, bus ride, or drive away. I typically opted to cycle, but right now I am of course working from home.
You have direct access to a Co-op, Morrisons, local Grocers/Butchers, several parks & pubs, two pharmacies & three surgeries, plus 30 metres up the road is a community garden!
Although you don't have a private en-suite, your room is literal centimetres from the renovated bathroom, which has been extended to fit a large modern corner bathtub. The room also comes fully furnished, with a double bed & built-in wardrobes & cupboards to maximise space.
Pictures of the room itself will be available shortly - current flatmate is away from the house due to lockdown, so hasn't had a chance to make it presentable yet!
The landlady Alison herself is a delight - always understanding, pet-friendly, organises any repairs that need arranging within a matter of days, and is consistently polite and jovial.
I am also a firm believer in open communication - I would want you to feel that if you ever had a problem or an issue, you could chat about it and we could work to resolve it!
No curfews/rules or anything daft like that.
I'm exceptionally laidback myself, and predominantly keep myself to myself as I have a low social battery, but I do enjoy occasionally cooking for others, watching films, playing board games, or even something daft like a game of frisbee.
Deposit Negotiable.
