Double room in modern 2 bed cottage

I have a spacious room with its own bathroom in my modern 2 bedroom stone cottage in Batheaston. The cottage is off the high street in a quiet, private courtyard, family owned, with countryside to the rear. A lovely convenient location.

I have 2 small dogs, (one is a tiny Pomeranian) very well behaved and cared for by one of our lovely neighbours when I am at work.

The house is spacious with a large lounge with comfortable furniture, modern kitchen/diner, well equipped and to a very high standard. It was built about 15 years ago. We have a water softener, gas central heating and a downstairs W. C. The kitchen is fully equipped with quality washing machine and dishwasher. Superfast broadband, so working from home is easy.

There is a nice, private, outside space with garden furniture and a private parking space for a small car included.

All bills are included.

During lockdown periods I have been staying with my Mum in our bubble and in normal times I always stay with her one or two nights a week so you will often have the house to yourself. I work at a very nice hair salon in Bath centre and usually work long hours there.

I would like an easy going person like myself, of a similar age ideally, who must love dogs and is clean and tidy. In return you will be living in a really nice house which you can feel at home in.

There is a bus stop right outside the courtyard to get you into town in about 10 minutes. Access to the M4 is very easy, avoiding Bath traffic and also for those working in Corsham, Bradford on Avon, Chippenham etc.

There is a news agent just a few yards walk selling basics. There are plenty of facilities at the lower end of Batheaston High Street including chemist, pub, fish and chip shop, Indian restaurant, the well regarded Gather Cafe, 8 till late shop, hairdresser, vet etc, all within 5 or 6 minutes walk.
