Exclusive space for one mature person.

A very lovely room in quiet house in a quiet cul-de-sac with a well equipped excusive use bathroom and exclusive use galley kitchen. The house has been refurbished to a high standard with good insulation, including triple glazing. The bedroom / living room / kitchen has a new double bed, table, good storage, nice views and a small well appointed galley kitchen (single hob, oven, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, sink, toaster, kettle) suitable for simple meals. A shared washing machine and dryer is included.

Bills for heating, council tax, water, gas, electric, TV and fast internet are included. Bed linen, towels etc are not supplied but can be hired for a small fee. Cleaning can also be arranged.

There is off-road parking for one car if required.

I am just retired from special needs teaching and my partner is a psychotherapist who uses a cabin in the garden for her work on Wednesdays and Thursdays. She does not live here but we normally spend the weekend together. We are both friendly, quiet, relaxed and like meeting new people.

There is another lodger who is in similar self contained rooms. He shares the vacuum cleaner, iron and my washing machine.

The room has worked well in the past for a mature quiet person wanting medium term accommodation for about 6 months. Although it has a double bed, it is suitable for one person. Foreign students or lecturers are welcome.

The room is available from 27th March and viewings can be arranged before that. The room is defined as lodgings rather than a tenancy.
