Spacious double bedroom in family home

About the room:
The room is spacious and bright, situated at the back of the house with a view onto the garden. It is furnished, including a solid wardrobe for lots of storage, a chest of drawers and an optional bed (it is currently in storage but we have included a photo of our current Lodger’s bed for an idea of size). The family bathroom is almost exclusively yours to use as we have an ensuite in our loft room so only need access to it for bathing our little boy and occasional guests. This consists of a bath and shower. We have a cleaner who visits once a fortnight and this is included with your bills.

Our house is a lovely 4 bedroom 1930's semi on a quiet road at the bottom of Bedminster. The house is recently redecorated with a kitchen, dining room, living room, conservatory and spare room that your guests are welcome to stay in with a bit of a notice.. Please ignore the sofa in the photo of the room as this is no longer in here but gives you an idea of the size of the room.

There is a garden with a patio and water feature that your room faces onto and a garage that can be used to store a bike.

5 minutes walk from North Street in Bedminster with local pubs, grocery stores and shops.
30 minutes walk from Bristol City Centre
Walking distance from Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl and Asda
Bus stop around the corner on Duckmoor Road, with regular buses to the City Centre

About Us
We are a 33 year old married couple who have been together over 14 years and we have lived in this house for a couple of years.. We have an 18 month old son, who is bubbly and cheeky. Jenny runs her own business and works part-time (currently mostly working from home during Covid). Scott is mostly office-based but works the odd day at home at the moment. We are quite relaxed, peaceful and friendly. We like going to the cinema and theatre, going out for drinks, going to the gym, seeing friends, reading and going for walks. We own a cat called Tom who is friendly and independent. We have lived with lodgers for about over 7 years and always had really good experiences with people who have mostly stayed with us for over a year so we hope this means we are pretty easy to get along with.

About You
We are looking for someone who is a professional and reasonably clean and tidy. It would be helpful if you liked kids and didn't mind the odd game of 'peekaboo' in the kitchen and some enthusiastic high fives from our little one. This property would be ideal for someone who values privacy and a reasonably peaceful life in a lovely area of Bristol.
