Description
Double room available in 2 bedroom semi-furnished flat in Bedminster. Just south of the river and only a 15 min walk to Temple Meads, Harbourside and North Street in Southville.
FLATMATE: I am in my mid 30s and originally from Rome (Italy). I am a professional with the hobby of photography. I love to practice yoga like twice a week. I love to travel and outdoor activities like hiking, swimming, or a simple long walk. I am a social person, but I also like my private/quite time. I like good/healthy food, and trying new recipes. I enjoy to explore new restaurants & coffee shops as well (in normal times). I also enjoy chilling out with a nice book, or watch a film or tv-series on Netflix. I also used to live in Australia, Canada and Netherland for a while. I am trying to be more conscious about sustainability and doing my best with small habits that helps the planet. I also love the concept of HYGGE living and when I can I like to organize nice cosy gathering with friends in the house, with some good food and boardgames. I have moved to Bristol almost 4 years ago and I really like the flat where I am currently living!
IDEAL FLATMATE: I am looking for a professional, mature and friendly female flatmate - similar interests would be great. Someone who is tidy, clean, and respectful of the common areas. I would prefer someone that sees the house as a HOME and like to have some nice chat or a meal together sometimes, respecting also each other private time.
LOCATION: The location is great, just a short walk into the City Centre, the main train station, or to the shops and bars on North Street in Southville. There’s a big supermarket and shops nearby making everything really convenient. There’s a bus stop just around the corner (52, 75, 76 and the A1 airport shuttle that takes you to the airport in 15 mins). The area is seeing a strong positive re-development with new shops and cafes, including The Bristol Loaf, just around the corner.
- FLAT: The flat is stylish modern and spacious duplex (1st and 2nd floor with no-one above) that face South-East and offer a great light all day long in the flat. The kitchen/living room is downstairs and the two double bedrooms and one bathroom are upstairs. The flat is semi-furnished (it has all the essentials!) The living room is spacious and has a sofa, kitchen table, chairs, a desk and drawers, shelving and coffee tables, but no TV. The kitchen has a dishwasher, fridge/freezer and all of the usual stuff, plus a few cooking utensils, but no microwave. The flat is strictly no smoking and no pets. There is a big, private garage with coded gate downstairs where you can store your bike. There is no allocated parking though, but you can apply for a street-parking permit from the council. There is space to lock up bikes downstairs in the communal garage.
- ROOM: The double room available is furnished with a double bed (that lifts up for under-bed storage), bedside table, and a clothes rail. The room has a large skylight that lets in a lot of light, but there is no other window.
- RENT: The rent for the room available is £ 495.00 per month (Council taxes and bills not included). The deposit is one months rent and will be due before move in. This is a private rental so there are no agency fees. The minimum rental is 1 year starting from 1st February, or 15th of February 2021.
- VIEWINGS: If you're interested, please get in touch with a little bit of information about yourself before scheduling a viewing. Regarding the process for the viewings, we can arrange in person (mask to be worm please), or we can arrange a virtual viewing (please state your preference).
