Double room in a friendly house share

Our pal Pete is moving out and we're looking for someone to take on his room. It's a great house for a great price, right by North Street in Bedminster, and we'd love to to keep the relaxed, communal atmosphere going.

As Pete is leaving, you would be living with Nshan and myself. Nshan is a 28 year old visual artist and works at Spike Island while doing an MA in arts management at Bath Spa university. I'm Calum, a 31 year old seemingly clinging to my youth by studying a degree in Anthropology surrounded by 18-21 year olds. Turns out Gen Z-ers aren't so bad after all.

We're not a party household but having friends over for dinner or coffee is very much encouraged!

Available is a normal sized double room on the first floor with a view of Ashton Court and the Bristol City stadium as well as the nearby terraced houses.

Worth noting that the house is very un-sound-proof, so unfortunately that late night violin school you've been dreaming of isn't going to work out.

There's parking available but it's on-street. I've never had a problem finding a spot on the road, though it can get pretty full at times - particularly when there is a gig or game on at Ashton Gate Stadium.

One communal bathroom with a shower and bath, plus a downstairs toilet.

Broadband, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher.

Bills generally come to about £130 each, so the rent for the room is £350ish and bills take it to £500ish. This may change a bit with energy prices going haywire.

The extra £100 is to cover council tax for a non-student. If the new tenant were to be a student, we would be eligible for a council tax exemption, so the new tenant full rent with bills included would be £500. Any confusion don't hesitate to ask.
