A few other things
The majority of maintenance responsibilities fall to myself as the landlord, however, the household are asked to share and maintain some appliances for example replacing kitchen spot bulbs, door bell batteries and on occasions letting-in a plumber for the annual boiler service etc. And as we can all have different ways of doing things there are a few general house rules to help our shared understanding and expectations for the communal spaces. There is also a cleaning rota which entails emptying the dustbins / recycling and cleaning the downstairs communal kitchen and hallway (once per month which takes between 45mins – 1hr).
