Young professional house share in Mendips

I live in an incredible cottage in the Mendips (25 mins from central Bristol) with my spaniel but I’m spending a lot of time away with work, so looking for a housemate to share with!

- Master bedroom in a fully furnished house
- Very well-equipped kitchen
- Patio and garden with greenhouse and veg patches
- Large TV + stereos.
- High speed fibre
- Very friendly 1 year old spaniel when I’m around (and you’re welcome to have him when I’m not!)
- Lots of garage space for storage
- Climbing training equipment if that’s your thing

Other things:
- Drive times are 25 mins to Clifton, 30 mins to Temple Meads, 14 mins to Langford
- I work from home 2-3 days a week on a desk in the lounge

About me:
- 25yo working remotely in a tech startup, ex Army Officer
- Runner and climber/outdoorsy
- Really laid back, friendly and tidy
- Big foodie, spend lots of time in the kitchen. Would love to share with someone else similar!
- Spend my summer evenings in the veggie garden
- Away 1-2 nights a week and regularly away for a weekend or week 1-2 times a month

Looking for a flatmate who:
- Professional or PhD student
- Like to cook and outdoorsy
- Wants to live in a cottage in the Mendips. Might sound silly but the commute to do anything is pretty inconvenient so you need something that makes it worth it! For me it’s the runs straight out of my door and the space and garden I wouldn’t be able to have in Bristol

About tenancy:
- Will be added as a co-tenant on lease with Hamptons ending June 2025. Will add your name to TDS deposit.
- Half of rent is £700 but happy to agree £900 including bills, which is a fair bit cheaper than 50/50.
- Bills include high speed fibre, fortnightly cleaner and fireplace maintenance.
