Description
Hi, I'm Joe, a 33 year old male who lives and works in Bristol as a charity worker. After two years of living together, my housemate is sadly moving out so I'm looking for someone to take his place.
The flat is in St George. It's a fairly clean, modern, well maintained building which has served us well whilst we've been here. It's situated at the top of Church Road, 5 mins walk from the lovely Trooper's Hill. It’s under 10 minutes walk away from the main strip of Church road which has Aldi, Co-op, Tesco etc, and there are bus stops into town from literally across the road.
There is parking round the side of the building, which you can reserve for a monthly fee, and we have a bike storage area and enclosed communal patio space. It’s also very well insulated and we rarely turn the heating on ever, maybe 3-4 days a year - great for saving money!
A bit about me, I'm a chilled, friendly guy who gets along with most people, I’m looking for someone friendly and fun who enjoys hanging out/socialising/having a drink but also values their own space and isn’t a party animal. I also work from home 3 days a week and often use the desk in the front room for this.
I’m very passionate about electronic music production & DJing, and have a turntable set up in the living room which I occasionally will have a mix on, so someone with similar tastes would be ideal - at the very least a tolerance for my hobby. I’m big into festivals and clubbing but as mentioned I don’t want this to be a ‘sesh flat’ :) I like to keep the place looking nice and tidy and would expect you to chip in to that. I also have a fish tank with 6 little nano fish!
