Mature professional for 2 bed flat in Montpelier

Ideally looking to rent a room from 01/06/2024 but lease start date is somewhat flexible.

It’s a year long single assured short hold tenancy let with a 6 month break clause and the possibility to role on for at least another year.

It’s a single room furnished with a small double bed. The room has a large inbuilt closet in the room with 2 bookshelves and a tv stand and chair but these can be removed if preferred.

Shared bathroom with bath/shower.
Shared open plan kitchen/dining/living room.
2 communal shared closets.
Non smoking.

1 person room rent: 500 pcm (bills not included).
Deposit: £500
Bills are roughly £150 pcm pp (council tax band B, gas, electric, water and internet) but subject to change in the crazy world we live in these days.

Appartement deets:
It’s a small but cosy apartment in a great location - lots of place are accessible by walking. It’s a 7min walk to the nearest Tesco or Sainsbury’s, 12 mins to cut down through Montpelier to stokes Croft, 5mins to get to the bottom of the Gloucester Road, 17 min walk to get into the city centre and you can get a little train to the Lidl by Station Road in 5 mins or go to Temple Meads in 10 mins. Lots of pubs, restaurants, bars and cafes are in walking distance. There is a place to park a car if you have one or a place to lock your bike off the main road if you have one too.

The apartment does face on to a train track so while the street is pretty quiet you can hear the trains. They run from 6:30am- 11:30pm - personally I’ve never had issues with sleeping or being woken up etc but if you are a very light sleeper or sensitive to noise you may not be a fan.

A little about me: in my 30s, mostly home working (about 1-2 days in the office) with office hours of 9-5, used to living with flatmates and being considerate of shared spaces, up for cooking meals together or going to the pub, sociable but not about the late night life. I’m a meat eater but eat plenty of veggie only food too.

Looking for: I’m not fussed if you’re a guy or a woman but the apartment is quite small so not looking for a couple, and it’s also preferable if you do not work from home primarily. Please no students, just mature working professionals who are house trained (most of the furniture in the communal area is my own so looking for someone who treats others’ possessions with respect). If you like cooking and want to share meals that’s an added bonus. No party animals or lovers of loud music please. No pets either thanks.
