Description
Hello!
We have a room going spare in our home in St George. We own the place but have always lived with others - we rented for a long time in house shares and then our previous housemates from rental moved with us.
We are looking for someone who is interested in making our home their home - you can redecorate and furnish the room however you want. We've always lived with people who are happy to share occasional evening meals/cooking so would love to live with someone who'd also be interested in doing that. We are generally vegetarian (9.5 meals out of 10) but are not strict about it.
As well as the double room there is a cupboard space available in the semi-converted loft for storage and also space in the garage for a bike. There is free parking in our cul-de-sac.
The bathroom would largely just be used by you as we have our own onsite and only use the bathroom occasionally for a bath.
One of us (me - Maz) is a writer and violin teacher that works from home. I only teach violin in the early evenings. The other of us (Andy) is a lawyer who works from home two days a week.
The house has a lovely patio and garden. We'd be very happy to make room for you to grow stuff if you're green fingered.
We will consider a pet. Occasionally we dog sit an old, very chill Labrador. We're not mad keen on cats but would accommodated a dog if they're relaxed about other dogs and aren't yappy. We'd probably need to meet the pet before deciding.
