Description
Hello!
We have a beautiful, sunny and bright furnished double room to rent in Redfield, available now.
I am a female artist and I also work in education. My housemate works for a local brewery. The house is pretty low key during the weekday evenings. We enjoy cooking and the odd glass of wine, reading, live music, comedy, films and hanging out in the garden, travel, camping, art galleries and museums, the seaside, baking, adventures, festivals, pub, making stuff, hiking, dancing, road trips, music... we are quite social, but keep visitors to the weekends. We sometimes share wine/meals, but are also very independent. We respect each other's space and need for down time and a calm and tidy home environment, and want the same from out housemates.
The house is on a quiet, friendly street, twenty seconds from the bus stop- the bus comes every ten mins and takes you into central Bristol within about 10-15 mins.
It's also close to Lawrence Hill station, which takes you straight to Temple Meads in 3 minutes or up to Clifton and Gloucester Road in 7.
It's an easy walk to St Marks Roads.
We are close to the M32, M4 and M5 and Bristol airport is about half an hour away.
You can walk to town in about half and hour or so.
There is also on-street parking and I have a car for occasional errands and supermarket trips, if needed.
The house is recently renovated and has a lovely kitchen/diner with dishwasher and washing machine and dryer, cosy living room and garden with art studio and lawn.
The rent is £450pcm and bills are no more than £150 pcm each (council tax, water, electric, gas, wifi/broadband, tv license...) at the moment! The house would suit a professional person, who doesn't WFH ideally. The deposit is one months rent in advance and references are required. We have a cleaner once a month, for a tenner each cash.
Redfield is a great location, there are great pubs, cafes and takeaways on the doorstep and three lovely parks close by, including beautiful and lively St Georges Park and Troopers Hill.
There is a Lidl, Tesco and Aldi around the corner on Church Road.
This is a no smoking house (but you're welcome to smoke in the garden) and I don't have pets (I have allergies, soz!). Vegetarians and vegans are very welcome, but please be aware that we do cook meat. I am a live-in landlord, just in case you're not into that!
If you're interested, please get in touch and tell me a little about yourself.
Happy house hunting!
Edit: due to the overwhelming amount of responses, I might not get time to reply to every message! I'm really sorry!!
