Double Room with Ensuite in 2 Story Flat Clifton

We are two friends looking for a new flat mate as our current flat mate has just bought her own house. One of us is a nurse and works shifts, the other works for Bristol Uni but we both like to fill our days off socialising, doing fun activities and going for nice food and drinks. We’re looking for someone positive, chilled and sociable to join us :)

We enjoy having nights out and equally enjoy a night in so would be lovely to find someone who could be part of that too. We’d like our new housemate to feel like they are able to use the common areas.

The flat is spread over two floors with large, bright and spacious rooms. We’re also lucky to have a very large terrace/balcony which is perfect in the summer for entertaining and sunbathing! The flat has three bathrooms and a spacious kitchen. It has period features with fireplaces in all the bedrooms, high ceilings and sash windows. As it’s so spacious, sound doesn’t tend to travel from the living area to the bedrooms upstairs so you can socialise without worrying too much about keeping people awake.

We’ve been renewing our tenancy on a yearly basis so are hoping to find someone who would like to stay for at least a year. The landlord is local and very helpful on the rare occasion we have needed him.

The flat is situated on Alma Road, just off Whiteladies Road. Sainsbury’s and the Co op are a two minute walk away, along with many bars, restaurants, banks and other useful shops. It takes 20 minutes to walk to the Downs and 20 minutes to the BRI. It is also opposite a bus stop and 3 minutes walk from Clifton Down train station. On street parking is available with a residents parking permit.

The room available is a double room with an ensuite bathroom and will be unfurnished. However the rest of the flat is already fully furnished.

The bills include gas, electricity, water, TV license, Virgin media internet and basic TV, and council tax. These are paid separately to the rent and can vary slightly depending on the time of year. Generally bills are £130 each pcm. .

The room will be available from around the 11th November.
