Windsor Terrace Housing Society is seeking a new member!
A double bedroom on the top floor maisonette of our 5 storey building has recently become available at £403 pcm.

We’re looking for a new member, ideally male to keep the gender balance, who is covid-conscious and keen to get actively involved in co-operative living, including participating in practical and administrative tasks as well as engaging socially.

The maisonette features 4 double bedrooms, a kitchen, living room and bathroom and also an additional room for communal use; guest stays, home working etc. Rent includes council tax, water rates and communal internet, whilst gas and electricity are paid separately. The house has a shared laundry room and a beautiful large garden overlooking Clifton Gorge and the suspension bridge.

The co-op is in a large grade 2 listed Georgian building on the edge of Hotwells and Clifton Village and is about 10 minutes by bus or bike to the city centre. In addition to the top floor maisonette the house is comprised of 3 other self-contained living spaces.

A little about us: we are a very mixed group of different nationalities, ages and interests with diverse work backgrounds including interpreters, chefs, musicians, architects, chocolatiers, sustainability project coordinators, university managers and design and technology entrepreneurs. We have a shared interest in community focused, sustainable living and a view that property should provide a secure home rather than be a vehicle for financial speculation. Our long-term aim is refining this vision in order to carry it forward to other properties. In the short term, we are working towards making our beautiful home as carbon neutral and efficient as possible.
