The house is a relaxing, friendly, bright and cosy home with new, high quality facilities.
I’m looking for a housemate who enjoys living in a clean and peaceful environment. I’m relaxed and friendly, and want you to feel comfortable and at home.
It would be great to find someone who enjoys cooking good food, enjoying the garden and having BBQs (I plan to buy one shortly!) Equally, I’m often busy with work, social things and am starting a course in workplace wellbeing in September, so value and respect privacy and personal space and time.
Facilities
The house is light and airy, with new facilities (I’ve recently moved in - so things are sparkling and new!) Some of the facilities are: broadband, TV,. Kitchen - new appliances - induction oven/hob, dishwasher and new washing machine/dryer. There’s a large fridge/freezer, so plenty of space for storing and preparing food.
Dining room - lots of storage on shelves, comfy chairs so nice place to eat. Living room - new comfy sofa and chair, with light window seat. Bathroom - large shower and bath (with a nice skylight which makes it really light), with storage space for toiletries. South facing sunning garden with lawn and patio area, BBQ and garden furniture to be bought soon!
The neighbours are friendly, and we seem to have a whole gang of neighbourhood cats who are often happy to say hello. On street parking no permit needed, however street is quiet so I have no problems parking/find a space.
Price and furnishings
£550 - Lovely quiet, light and bright room with newly bought high quality John Lewis mattress, double bed, lots of storage with new wardrobe, shelves, blinds and curtains.
Note this is inclusive of all bills (council tax, water, gas/electricity, internet, TV license).
Deposit of 1 month's rent and 2 references are required. Prefer ≥6 months minimum stay; longer preferred. No maximum length stay.
Preference for a female, but mostly just want to find the right person : )
Local area
The house is in a vibrant and friendly residential neighbourhood. The location is brilliant - 5 minutes walk from great pubs, shops and cafes on both Church Road, St George and 10 minute walk from pubs, cafes and shops in Easton.
St George Park is a 5 minute walk away, which is great in the spring/summer for BBQs and the local festival Redfest!
Location/transport
Located 1.3 miles from the city centre. 15-20 minutes by bus to the Centre. Stapleton Road and Lawrence Hill train station are both less than 15 minute walk away with trains to Bristol Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway, amongst others. The Bristol-Bath cycle path is a 1-minute walk away. For commuters by car, it’s only 3 minutes by car to the M32 and the A4320 Ring Road.
