Description
I'm looking for a short term lodger (3 months, potentially up to 6 months) to fill my room while I'm in Australia. You'd be living with one other female proffesional, and my cat Stanley.
About the home -
The house is located in a lovely little cul-de-sac in Easton. Inside is a shared living room/kitchen, utilities room, downstairs toilet and shower, and a upstairs bathroom with bath. There is also a large garden with hammock, pond, raised bed for veggies and a seating area. There is street parking available.
The room is a large furnished double room with a double bed, side table, wardrobe and shelving.
I'm very much into trying to live sustainably and so like to use cleaning products that are eco friendly. The cost of this gets split between everyone in the house upon purchase and includes things like washing up liquid, toilet paper, general house cleaning products etc.
The room is available now really, but I'm happy to wait for the right person.
The location -
The Bath to Bristol cycle track is right behind the house, so walking or cycling into town is easy (about a 30 minute walk/10 minute cycle). There is a bus stop 5 minute walk away which takes you into town. The nearest train station is also only about a 10 minute walk away.
The house is in walking distance of plenty of organic food shops, aldi, tesco etc, plenty of resturants, pubs and cafes.
About you -
I'm looking for someone aged between 28-42 who is looking for a home to move into and not a party/student pad. You'll need to be tidy and respectful of the house. If you're a plant lover and like to potter around in the garden, thats a bonus!
This is a vegetarian household, so I'm only wanting to live with another vegetarian/vegan/pescitarian.
I would prefer a proffesional , but a student is fine too as long as you're not living the "typical" student life of partying/coming home late all the time. I'm also looking for someone that doesn't work from home due to the extra cost in bills.
Due to having Stanley the cat here, I'm unable to accept another cat or dog sorry. Other pets can be considered.
The price of £680 is inclusive of all bills, however this only works if whoever moves in is responsible with gas and energy usage, and may have to go up a little if energy prices rise dramatically again.
The room will be available from 18th March for at least 3 months, but with the potential for being up to 6 months depending on how long I stay in Australia before needing to be back in September. A months notice will be given.
Feel free to contact me with any questions :)
Thanks, Alice.
