Description
THE ROOM
The room is a good sized double with a lovely view of the garden. It features recently restored wooden floors, 2 large shelves, an open/built-in clothes rail, and a spacious cupboard with extra storage and shelves. It’s fully furnished with a comfy double bed, a bedside table, chest of drawers, and a shelving unit. There's also room for a small desk, though there isn't one in there at the moment.
LOCATION
The house is on a quiet road between Eastville Park and Greenbank Cemetery, so it’s near lots of lovely green space, and yet handily also walking distance from IKEA and the big Tesco. Just a short walk across the cemetery is Greenbank / Easton / St Mark’s Road which have some lovely shops and great pubs.
Transport links:
- 5min walk to the bus stop for routes to the city centre
- 4min cycle to the Bristol - Bath cycle path
- 15min walk to Stapleton Road train station
- Super quick access to M32
ABOUT ME
You would be living with me and my sweet cat Bonnie. I’m 38 and I work for an environmental charity. I love music and go to a lot of gigs. I’m also really interested in art, design, yoga, reading, running (lots of good places for this nearby). I’m pretty sociable and like having friends over for dinner + fairly often have friends or family coming to stay from out of town.
Bonnie is 8 months old, and a dear little cat. She is extremely affectionate, playful and loves cuddles. If you like cats, I’m sure you would get on well with her.
WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR
Someone who is friendly, kind, easygoing, respectful and maybe has some of the same stuff in common. I’m a neat person so I would ideally like someone who will tidy up after themselves and help keep the shared spaces clean and looking nice. I work from home full time and l think I’d probably prefer someone who works outside the house at least some of the time, but this is of course not a dealbreaker. No couples - sorry!
Short term preferred, but open to longer term. I'm happy to discuss this.
