Description
I’ve just bought a place in Bristol and renovated it with a lot of help from my very handy mum. There’s still a bit to do, but it’s getting to be a really lovely house and it’s super roomy! It’s just between Greenbank Cemetary and Eastville Park and has a little garden which will one day be transformed into an urban oasis. The bike path is really near too. I have a 3 year old Springador, Ruby, who is gorgeous and very friendly, but convinced she’s permanently on the brink of starvation so I’d have to train you how to not lose your dinner!
I’m hoping to find someone to live with who is sociable, clean, and up for doing things sometimes on weekends/ the odd weeknight. I’m a teacher so my schedule is a bit all or nothing! I love living here… Saturday Parkrun, all the delights of Easton, and a big sociable kitchen are my highlights.
The room is “The Garden Room”. It’s at the back on the ground floor and gets lots of sun. There’s a small double bed with a brand new mattress arriving soon. There's lots of sneaky storage (under the bed drawer, headboard shelving, and a behind-the-door clothes rail), but you could add a wardrobe if you want. It’s totally private with a loo next door and a shared bathroom upstairs. There’s also the spare room upstairs which has a desk which can be used in the day and a little extra wardrobe space. (I’m not letting this room because they’re not very well soundproofed and I snooze a lot of alarms very early in the morning).
The house would probably suit a young professional/ mature student, but I think most important is that we get on well and would enjoy living together. If you think that might be you then send me a message and we can do a little tour/ meet. All bills are included, and there’s a cleaner. Parking is on-street.
